Restart!

My blog has been inactive for exactly ten years. During this time, I have been active on social networks like Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, Reddit, and LinkedIn. When I redesigned my website in 2014, I decided to launch my blog in both French and English. However, this approach did not enhance the spontaneity of my posts. Additionally, some companies no longer allow me to discuss my work, even after projects have been released. I hope this will change soon.

After all this time, it’s time to revive my blog and start publishing again. I will write in French first to maintain momentum, with the English version of each post potentially published later, depending on my availability. However, I’m confident that the new tools, such as DeepL, will help me to improve the quality and reduce the delay of my publication.

I plan to cover a variety of topics, including VFX, photography, self-hosting, and other tech-related subjects. I have a few posts in progress that I hope to complete soon.

I have also activated the ActivityPub plugin, which allows the blog to be followed via Mastodon and other networks using this protocol at www.lucasjanin.com/@social. Speaking of Mastodon, you can find my profile at mastodon.social/@lucas3d.
